Probiotic Mojoba תזונה Intelligent

Probiotic Mojoba                    תזונה Intelligent

Wild Harvest Pharma’s nutraceutical Mojoba powder contains appreciable quantities of other essential vitamins, such as thiamine (vitamin B1) and riboflavin (vitamin B2), essential for optimal development of the organism and for maintaining cellular integrity of the nerves, skin and ocular epithelia, and niacin (vitamin PP or B3), important to regulate many metabolic functions. Furthermore, the fruit contributes to the injection of some essential minerals and essential fatty acids.

Mojoba is a probiotic organism which contributes to the health and balance of the intestinal tract. A probiotic is also referred to as the "friendly", "beneficial", or "good" bacteria which when ingested acts to maintain a healthy intestinal tract and help fight illness and disease.

The word "Probiotic" simply means “for life” which explains why these nutrients are so important. The scientific definition of a Probiotic is:
“A live microbial feed supplement, which beneficially affects the host by improving its intestinal microbial balance”

New research is establishing how important the supplementation of probiotics can be for a variety of conditions. The probiotic effect of
Mojoba enhances the imune system by favorably altering the gut micro-ecology and preventing unfriendly organisms from gaining a foothold in the body. They prevent the overgrowth of yeast and fungus and produce substances that can lower cholesterol.

Why Do We Need Mojoba?                                                                                        Two of the most damaging substances to the delicate intestinal flora balance are chlorine and sodium fluoride present in drinking water . The drinking of alcoholic beverages also contributes to the destruction of the intestinal flora. Medical antibiotics, birth control pills and many other allopathic drugs cause damage to the intestinal flora and to the tissue in the intestinal wall.
Poor eating habits, chlorinated drinking water, stress and disease and the use of antibiotics in food production as well as in medical treatments can wreak havoc in the gastrointestinal tract by destroying good bacteria and allowing undesirable bacteria to multiply. When the ratio of good bacteria to bad is lowered, problems begin to arise such as excessive gas, bloating, constipation, intestinal toxicity and poor absorption of nutrients.

A good probiotic supplement like Mojoba will contain millions and millions of live bacteria to bolster and replenish levels of the health promoting good bugs in your digestive tract. Once there, these probiotic reinforcements join forces with the existing friendly bacteria to help inhibit the growth of more harmful microbes.

Here's a summary of what probiotic Mojoba can do:
Inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria that cause digestive stress Improve digestion of food and absorption of vitamins
Stimulate the body’s natural defence mechanism - the imune system
Help make vitamins needed by the body

Prebiotics are nondigestible nutrients that are used as an energy source by certain beneficial bacteria that naturally live in your intestines. Prebiotics are sometimes known as fermentable fiber.

Prebiotics occur naturally in our Mojoba health supplement as well as in a variety of other foods, especially high-fiber foods, including certain fruits, vegetables and grains.

Prebiotics  are also added to some dietary supplements and some processed foods, such as yogurt, drink mixes and meal-replacement bars.  By acting as a food source, prebiotics give the probiotic bacteria a chance to exert their influence. These friendly bacteria may have several health benefits, from aiding digesting to boosting immunity.

Preliminary clinical evidence shows that prebiotics may have a role in:
Improving antibiotic-associated diarrhea
Improving traveler's diarrhea
Improving gastroenteritis
Normalizing bowel function
Improving colitis
Reducing irritable bowel problems
Aiding calcium absorption
Boosting your immune system

Mojoba Vitamin C

Mojoba Vitamin C                                         Intelligent Ernæring

Wild Harvest Pharma’s nutraceutical Mojoba powder contains appreciable quantities of other essential vitamins, such as thiamine (vitamin B1) and riboflavin (vitamin B2), essential for optimal development of the organism and for maintaining cellular integrity of the nerves, skin and ocular epithelia, and niacin (vitamin PP or B3), important to regulate many metabolic functions. Furthermore, the fruit contributes to the injection of some essential minerals and essential fatty acids.

Ascorbic Acid(vitamin C)
Mojoba has a particularly high antioxidant capability mainly because of its high natural vitamin C content, which is equivalent to 6 oranges per 100 g. The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for ascorbic acid is 75 mg for women and 90 mg for men. If we consider that Mojoba has an ascorbic acid content of 300 mg per 100g, the oral intake of 25 and 30 g respectively is able to provide to the daily vitamin C allowance.

Vitamin C, an essential nutrient found mainly in fruits and vegetables. The body requires it to form and maintain bones, blood vessels, and skin. Like other vitamins, ascorbic acid is an organic compound and  must be replenished daily.

Ascorbic acid helps produce collagen, a protein needed to develop and maintain healthy teeth, bones, gums, cartilage, vertebrae discs, joint linings, skin and blood vessels.
Ascorbic acid also does the following:

1. Promotes the healing of cuts, abrasions and wounds.
2. Helps fight infections.
3. Inhibits conversion of irritants in smog, tobacco smoke, and certain foods into cancer-causing substances.
4. Appears to dilate (widen, enlarge) blood vessels and thereby lessen the risk of developing high blood pressure and heart disease.
5. Helps regulate cholesterol levels.
6. Prevents the development of scurvy, a disease characterized by weakness, fatigue, anemia, swollen joints, bleeding gums and loose teeth. Scurvy was common aboard ships in earlier times because crews traveled for long periods without eating fresh vegetables or fruit. Many sailors died of the disease. Scurvy is rare today.
7. Appears to lower the risk of developing cataracts, clouding of the lens of the eye that impairs vision.
8. May help protect diabetics against deterioration of nerves, eyes and kidneys.
9. May (or may not) inhibit the development of colds and decrease the intensity of cold symptoms. (This is highly controversial.)
10. Aids iron absorption.
11. May reduce levels of lead in the blood.
